Fibonacci Ticks 144-6765

I am making a concerted effort to use all of the studies that make up the Profitunity Trading System developed by Bill Williams. In the charts above, we Are still using the standardized tick interval. This consists of a 144, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, and 6765 Tick. The first study is the Market Facilitation Index; it will attempt to give us Fake out signals as the volume comes in. The second set study is the Acceleration/Deceleration Oscillator; it is used strictly for momentum. The third study is the Awesome Oscillator; its function is to measure median price of the five – 34 – 5 MACD and it's Moving Average. The bottom study is The Gator Oscillator; It's function I will describe after explaining the study on the chart itself. On The chart we have Williams Alligator and Williams Fractals; Williams Alligator is A set of smoothed moving averages that are plotted, or displaced, five, eight, and 13 periods, respectively, into the future. The length of each Moving Average corresponds exactly, and equally, to its displacement. Williams Fractals looks for a five bar sequence, and indicates where the high exceeds The surrounding Highs, and vice versa. It denotes this with a red arrow for a Sell Fractal, and a green arrow for a Buy Fractal. The Gator Oscillator study indicates where the distance between the displaced MA's is coming to rest or diverging apart.

The study set will be difficult to use with our current monitor layout. With screen real estate at a premium, until we have two more monitors, we will only be able to use two studies at a time. This is why in the past, we have used a hybrid of multiple indicators. A new monitor layout, is right around the corner, so we are getting ready.

To reiterate, there are a wealth of outstanding studies on the ThinkorSwim platform and if you have the time they all have subtle intricacies that can be manipulated.Once you are familiar with the platform, it may be worth your while to learn the proprietary programming language, thinkScript: there are countless manipulations available at that juncture.
